Yesterday AllThingsD reported that Apple will be holding it’s next iPhone Event on 10th September. “The next iPhone” as they say could be the iPhone 5S. Earlier reports have already mentioned that this new version of the iPhone is expected to reach the customers at affordable prices, atleast less than the current price of iPhone 5. Apple has been struggling to get back to the top after companies like Samsung, LG, HTC and other random companies with Android Smartphones started gaining fame and market shares.

The new iPhone is expected to have a fingerprint sensor since Apple acquired Authentec last year. This has been speculated since some time now. Apple has reported that iOS 7 will run on the recent products. iOS 7 has been in testing for some time now and the next iPhone will run on iOS7. Some older products will also receive this update.

The new software has a redesigned look with new icons, menus and other changes include better notifications, better photo-organizing capabilities etc. Reports regarding a bigger screen are also present.

An Apple representative declined commenting on the time of upcoming events but Consumers, investors and board members have been pressing for more rapid pace of innovation, reports AllThingsD.

Apple has been working on a new Mac OSX called Mavericks but tis might not be announced on September 10th.
