Samsung announced Hennessy SCH-W789, Flip Phone in China
This is the third time, I am posting about Samsung’s much rumored Flip Android Smartphone. But, this time, it’s official. Samsung has officially announced the Flip Phone in China in almost the way we know it from the leaked pictures. In the two articles earlier posted it was unclear if Hennessy was SCH-W789 or SHV-E400K. That’s clear too because Hennessy was announced as SCH-W789. Thus, it’s again clear that this is not a Galaxy phone though it runs Android 4.1 Jellybean.
Some specs announced are different from those rumored and leaked earlier. The phone sports two screens, each measuring 3.3-inches with a resolution of 320×480 pixel. The phone runs on a 1.2 GHz Processor with 1 GB of RAM and uses TouchWiz interface as in Galaxy Phones. Other noticeable features include WiFi, GPS, a microSD slot, 1500 mAh battery and 5 MP Camera.
Hennessy has been announced only to Chinese public and we don’t know if it will ever make it worldwide. Even if it made international, one thing that might stop you from buying this phone is the weight and thickness. The thing wighs 208 grams and is about 18mm thick.
There’s no news about the release or price of the Hennessy. But, you can expect it soon as it has already been announced. Stay tuned. (2)
